Kumasi Asante Kotoko secured a very important win over Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium Wednesday afternoon, after earning just one point in their previous two Premier League games.
Bechem United hoped to mount pressure on league leaders Aduana Stars with a win against Kotoko but Enoch Morrison’s first half sublime goal, fired the Porcupine Warriors to victory.
The result lifts Kotoko up to second position in the table with 31 points. Bechem United moves to fourth with 30 points.
At the Nana Agyemang Budu I Park in Dormaa Ahenkro, League Leaders Aduana Stars were held to a goalless draw by King Faisal.
The visitors were organized defensively as they managed to frustrate Aduana to drop two points at home.
Aduana still remain top of the table, with 36 points, five points away from second placed Kotoko.
