Ghana Premier League club, Great Olympics have appointed former coach of Karela United, Bismark Kobby Mensah to take over as new head coach.
The new manager takes over from Yaw Preko, who was sacked last Tuesday following a poor run in the betPawa Ghana Premier League. After only five months with the Accra-based club.
Coach Kobby Mensah left Karela United after a short spell with them to join the Black Galaxies as part of the technical team at the just-ended 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Algeria.
The 39-year-old will look to help Great Olympics in the second round of the league to escape relegation, as they are just three points away from the relegation zone.
Kobby Mensah’s first assignment will be to beat Bechem United, as Olympics travel to Nana Gyeabour Park on Sunday, for their first game in the second round of the league.
Details of his contract will be announced in due course.
