A 7-year-old girl is in critical condition after her guardian allegedly pressed a hot spoon against her private parts, upper thighs, and buttocks as punishment for bedwetting at Mamobi in Accra.
The matter was reported at the Kotobabi Police Station which led to the arrest of the alleged perpetrator identified only as Aisha.
According to reports, Aisha was allegedly released later from police custody following pressure from Amina’s father and grandmother who insisted that the matter be settled at home.
