Irish chef Alan Fisher, breaks two records of Nigerian chef Hilda Baci and American chef Wendy Sandner as the longest cooking marathon and longest baking marathon in the Guinness World Record.
Fisher beats Hilda Baci by more than 24 hours, 119 hours, and 57 minutes, and she beats Wendy Sandner by 47 hours and 21 minutes.
Fisher dethroned Hilda Baci within 119 hours and 57 minutes, beating Baci’s previous record by more than 24 hours.
Hilda Baci was officially declared the Guinness World Record holder for the longest cooking marathon on June 13, 2023.
She cooked for 93 hours and 11 minutes, but almost seven hours were deducted from her final total because she mistakenly took extra minutes for one of her rest breaks early on in the attempt.
