Rapper Maradona Yeboah Adjei, better known by his stage as Guru NKZ, has been disqualified from the University of Ghana Students’ Representative Council (SRC) presidential election.
Information available to Republic Press indicates that the “Ɔdɔ Mede Kaa No Bɛma Wo” hitmaker was disqualified because he is not a hall resident on campus; thus, per the school’s constitution, he is not qualified.
Guru declared his intention to contest the UG presidential bid on Thursday, May 9, 2024, when he posted on his social media platform to welcome students back to school.
In a conversation with a campaign team member, he disclosed the rapper’s intention to challenge the disqualification.
