Sporting director of Hatayspor, Taner Savut, who went missing after an earthquake hit Turkey and Syria more than two weeks ago, has been found dead.
According to reports from Turkey, the lifeless body of the sporting director was retrieved on Tuesday, February 21, 2022.
This comes after the late Ghanaian player Christian Atsu who went missing withMr. Savut, was found dead on Saturday, February 18, 2023.
“We feel the deep sorrow of losing our Sporting Director Taner Savut,” Hatayspor wrote on Twitter on Tuesday. “We will not forget you teacher Taner. Rest in heaven. You are always in our hearts.”
