John Dumelo’s comment has faced a lot of public scrutiny, forcing him to render an apology on Facebook.

In the post, he admitted that his reaction was inappropriate and uncalled for.

“My comments were in response to personal attacks by supporters of the honourable minister, including false allegations regarding my mother’s death. However, I recognize that my reaction was inappropriate”, a portion of the post read.
