One of the leading members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, has shared his willingness to contest for the flagbearership in the party’s forthcoming presidential primaries.
In an interview with Accra based Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sɛn program today, January 18, 2022, Dr. Apraku reiterated that he has the requisite capacity and ability to deliver for the betterment of the people of this country.
Establishing his assertions on why the New Patriotic Party should give him the nod to officiate and lead the party in the upcoming elections, he said,”NPP should honor me not just for long service, I can rescue Ghana”
He stated that Ghana’s current economic sublimation requires that the country moves on a different direction, and for that reason, he is in the right lane to lead the course.
“I think the party should honor me. Not for the purposes that I have been in the party for a long time, but rather I have all that requires to deliver to the people of Ghana. If you have been around for sometime, and not good enough, it does not cut it. I can rescue this country on an easy different direction,” he added.
