A Security and Intelligence expert, Dr. Adam Bonna has stressed that about nine out of ten violence crime committed in Ghana are caused by the use of fire arms.
He said it is time the security operation in the country should be up and doing to strengthen the security system in Ghana.
According to him, the rate at which criminal activities are increasing in Ghana is a wake up call to the government to strengthen his security system.
“In Ghana now, if someone threatens to shoot you, don’t argue because we don’t know who has a fire arm license or not license.” Adam Bonna said
Dr. Adam Bonna said there is no need for National Security Minister to go to cabinet.
“The national security minister should proof it that the chairman of the national security council expect him to come and tell him new thing.
“Even the president said whatever that will happen will happen if the IGP refused to investigate the death of Mfantsiman but all efforts Prof futile. No report was given to the president.” He added
He further said police officers are dying on their line of duty which in the last two weeks about seven police men have died.
