A former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) and an aspiring flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kojo Bonsu, has intensified his campaign ahead of the NDC primaries on May 13.
On his tour of the Yunyoo constituency in the North East Region, the former KMA boss said he will build “a 21st century Ghana we all want”
Mr. Kojo Bonsu met with delegates, chiefs and elders within the constituency to sell his campaign message.
According to him, he has planned to meet every delegate and member of Parliament to plan together for a better Ghana.
“The election is not about Kojo Bonsu. It is about Ghana, our children and their future”, he said. Hence the need to think together.
“With what I’m witnessing under the NPP, the future looks bleak for this generation. We need a united front to kick them out,” he added.
Mr. Bonsu comes face-to-face with former President John Dramani Mahama, a former Finance Minister, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor and Ernest Kobeah to be elected as the flagbearer for NDC in the 2024 general elections.
Meanwhile, former President John Dramani Mahama is expected to launch his campaign today in Ho.
