The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has extended his gratitude to personnel of the Police Service for their efforts in ensuring the safety of all individuals and property during the 45th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 6th meeting of the 2024 Africa Union Commission (AUC).
The Africa Union (AU) Summit commenced from July 17 to July 21, 2024 at the Accra International Conference Center in Accra.
The service in a statement released on Monday, July 22, 2024 commended members of the service for their patriotic work and professionalism.
“We also wish to thank all motorists, the commuting public and all other road users for your patience and cooperation during the period,” an portion of the statement said.
