Mr. Kennedy urged the leadership of the party to desist from the machinations that characterised the 26th Super Delegates Conference, adding that he would give the party total showdown if the elections were not conducted in a free and fair manner.

“My supporters have been receiving threatening messages from some party executives both in Ghana here and even in the diaspora.

“I will entreat all of us as members of the party to make sure that whoever emerges as a winner will be on a fairground,” adding that “I will congratulate the winner in that manner.

He made the comments on the New Day Television Show at Takoradi in the Western Region, where another showdown walk was held.

Mr. Agyappong stressed that if the intimidation of his supporters persists, he will give the NPP a total showdown after November 4.

Mr. Agyappong appealed to the NPP delegates to vote massively for him, noting that he is the only candidate who can break the 8-year jinx for the party in the 2024 general elections and also create job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youth in the country to better their lots in life.
