Ghanaian entrepreneur Nana Kwame Bediako, also referred to as Freedom Jacob Caesar or Cheddar, has reaffirmed his intention to advance his New Force agenda and eventually take over as president of the nation.
Mr. Bediako declared during an interview with Joy News TV that he would be willing to give up everything to better the lives of others in Ghana.
“I am prepared to sacrifice everything to improve people’s lives. I was told my businesses would collapse if I ventured into this space but I don’t mind, I’m ready for it. For me, adding value to humanity is priceless.” Mr Bediako noted
According to him, the mission of his New Force Movement is to change the narrative of the existing politics.
In response to the uproar surrounding the detention and deportation of Shalimar Abbuissi, the spokesperson for the New Force, and the cancellation of a public lecture event titled “The Convention” under the auspices of the New Africa Foundation, he stated he doesn’t believe he is being targeted.
“Our mission is to change the narrative of the existing politics. We have a manifesto, constitution and built 16 offices in every region. We have applied to the EC but they are yet to respond to us. I don’t think I’m being targeted but any force that comes up faces such normal challenges.” Mr. Bediako stated
Nana Kwame Bediako disclosed that the New Force Movement will rebrand after receiving its political party license from the Electoral Commission.
“Our name will change if we obtain the political party license from EC. My confidence is built from my faith. I want to continue the vision of my ancestors.” Mr Bediako added
