The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has paid his last respects to his sister and traditional mother, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, the late Asantehemaa, in a solemn ceremony marked by rich tradition and deep reverence.
People of Asanteman have therefore been advised to remain indoors after 6:00 p.m. today, as traditional activities and sacred rites will be observed in honour of the late Asantehemaa, ahead of her burial.
