The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that Inaki Williams (Athletic Bilbao), Tariq Lamptey (Brighton and Hove Albion), Stephen Ambrosius (Hamburger SV), Ransford-Yeboah Koningsdorffer (Hamburger SV) and Patric Pfeiffer (SV Damstadt 98) are now available for selection by the Black Stars Technical team.
This follows exhaustive engagements between the leadership of the GFA, the players and their parents in the last few months. The players are therefore available for selection in our upcoming International fixtures including the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The Spain-based Ghanaian forward, Inaki Williams, officially completed his nationality switch to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
The Atletico Bilbao attacker’s announcement followed fruitful talks with officials of the Ghana Football Association when, he spent his off-season holidays in the country.
Williams, born in Spain to Ghanaian parents, reportedly turned down offers to play for Ghana when he was approached in 2021.
He initially committed to Spain and appeared in one friendly match against Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2016.
He previously played for Spain’s U-21 team, scoring three goals in 17 games.
However, after, rescinding his decision, the highly-rated player on his official Twitter account, Tuesday, July 5, 2022, said he’s now ready to “defend Ghana’s T-shirt.”
