A 20-month-old baby boy has died and three women are severely injured after a mudslide collapsed a building at Tantri in the Central Region during Friday’s heavy downpour.
Following over 8 hours of continuous rain, a hillside gave way at 16:45 GMT, crushing three structures below where a family had taken shelter.

Emergency personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service rushed to the scene to assist, and Cape Coast Mayor George Justice Arthur has visited the family to offer condolences.
