Ghanaian socialite Moesha, now Maurecia Bodoung has confessed to all unworthy lifestyles she lived in the past.

The 31-year-old actress claimed she now has inner satisfaction and peace when she recently surrendered her life to Christ.

“The best thing that has ever happened to me was knowing God and since I gave my heart and life to Christ, I have this inner peace and joy money can’t buy. Serving God is one the best feeling in the world. Now the name is not Moesha but Maurecia Bodoung.” She said

In a video sighted by myrepubliconline.com, Moesha, now Maurecia said she attempted to commit suicide by jumping from an uncompleted storey building she was standing on.  She emotionally spoke about her past life whilst preaching the Gospel.

“This is Moesha Boduong, they use to call me Slay Queen of Accra and I was happy … I thought it was ok but I battled with a lot,” she said.

“Crack, I tried crack before, I took weed, it’s God that I don’t know is with me so when I tried it, I didn’t like it”. In the touching video, she apologized to Ghanaians and all girls she has introduced to dating rich married men. She added

She vowed to keep her virginity intact for God till the right man do the needful by taking her to the altar.

“I will never sleep with any man again till God gives me my own. If it will take 10 years, 20 years, 50 years, I’ll keep my virginity. I’ll keep my vagina for God till he brings the right man,” Moesha, now Maurecia Bodoung said

According to her she has sold her two cars and other belongings fulfil what the scripture captured in the Book of Matthew 19:21, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

“I don’t have anything in my account again, my car, I have sold it. Did you see I was going pick to Bolt, I don’t have anything, I have given everything, see me the way I am looking but me looking like this, I am happier than those days that you’d see me driving Range Rover and travelling around. I was not happy“.

The actress seized the moment to advise young girls who living inappropriate lifestyles to put an end to that.

“So all these girls that looked at my lifestyle and wanted to be like me, it’s not easy at all. Some of these girls go and they die because of the wrong men they sleep with. All these men do is to take our glory and give us peanuts“.
