The Eastern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jeff Konadu Addo, has publicly declared his support for Dr. Bryan Acheampong ahead of the party’s presidential primaries, describing him as the most formidable candidate to lead the party into the 2028 general elections.
According to Mr. Konadu Addo, Dr. Acheampong possesses the leadership qualities, experience, and national appeal needed to unite the party and secure victory at the polls.
He noted that the NPP would require a candidate with both strategic depth and grassroots connection to maintain its political dominance beyond 2024.
Speaking to party supporters, the Eastern Regional Chairman said Dr. Acheampong’s track record in public service and party organization places him in a strong position to lead the NPP into a new era.
He emphasized that the party must begin preparing early to ensure a smooth transition and a competitive campaign in 2028.
Mr. Konadu Addo urged party delegates and executives to rally behind Dr. Acheampong, stressing that unity and strategic leadership would be key to winning the next general elections.
