Ahead of the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) internal elections, leading national chairman aspirant, Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko has announced the top leadership of his campaign team.

The announcement was made during a meeting with a group of volunteers whose goal is to secure Boakye Agyarko’s chairmanship towards building a formidable party that will propel H.E. Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to victory in the 2028 elections.

The campaign will be led by two of the party’s most respected and experienced political figures. Henry Quartey, a former minister for the interior and Greater Accra region, as well as a former member of parliament for Ayawaso Central, takes up the role of campaign manager.

He is joined by the Joseph Osei-Owusu, popularly known as Joe Wise, who serves as the Senior Campaign Advisor.

Osei-Owusu is the former First Deputy Speaker of Parliament and a former Member of Parliament for Bekwai.

The campaign office noted that both men possess a “track record of grassroots mobilization, sharp political acumen, and significant national influence.”

Their inclusion is expected to provide a formidable strategic advantage, particularly in navigating internal party dynamics and executive governance.

In a show of unity, the newly appointed leaders expressed their commitment to the roadmap laid out by the aspirant.

According to the official statement signed by the campaign’s spokesperson, Vincent Frimpong Manu, Esq., the two leaders “fully share his vision to rebuild, restructure, and rebrand the New Patriotic Party for Victory in 2028.”

This vision is explicitly tied to securing a win for H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the next national polls.

While the top leadership has been set, a comprehensive list of the full National Campaign Team, comprising experts in strategy, research, communications, and operations, will be officially inaugurated in due course.
