Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), John Boadu has been honoured with the Outstanding Public Leadership Award in the Public Sector category at the 8th Ghana CEO Summit.
The prestigious event which took place at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra, on Monday, May 27, 2024, celebrated excellence and leadership within Ghana’s corporate and public sectors.
At the event, Hon. Boadu was recognized for his exemplary leadership and transformative impact on various state entities under SIGA.
Since assuming office as the Director-General, John Boadu has been instrumental in turning around the performance and efficiency of these entities, setting new benchmarks for governance and public service in Ghana.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Boadu expressed gratitude to the management and organizers of the event noting “the recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of my team at SIGA and It will further encourage me to strive for even greater heights in service to our beloved country.”
The summit featured prominent guest speakers, including the Vice President of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Alhaji Bawumia, and the former President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
Both leaders commended the efforts of the awardees and emphasized the importance of leadership and innovation in driving national development.
The 8th Ghana CEO Summit brought together top executives, policymakers, and thought leaders to discuss strategies for economic growth and sustainability.
