The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore has assured the general public that, former President, John Dramani Mahama will be sworn in as the President come 7th January 2025.

The regional chairman assured Ghanaians at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 17 2022 during the NDC’s 10th delegate congress.

According to him, the Akufo-Addo-led government has put Ghanaians through a lot of hardship and this will warrant the people of Ghana to vote against the NPP.

He added that the NDC and John Mahama is the best option for Ghanaians in these hard times and he is confident there will be a change in government.

Speaking about rumours regarding the division in the party, Mr Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore indicated that there are no divisions in the part as far as the congress is concerned.

“Elections come with several messages from opponents, and that is what is happening here. There are no divisions,” he stressed.

He further added that the main opposition is the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and not among members of the NDC.

He however urged aspirants to accept the outcome of the congress and continue to work as one people to lead the party to victory in the 2024 general elections.
