Southampton have completed the signing of Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana from Rennes on deadline day.
It is understood that Southampton paid a record-fee of £22m for the forward.
Before joining the Saints, it was reported that Everton also showed strong interest in signing the player but he proffered a move to Southampton.
The 20-year old signed a four-and-half year old contract that will see him stay at Southampton until 2027.
Kamaldeen made forty-six appearances for Rennes, scoring six goals.
He also represented Ghana at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, making two appearances.
