A self – styled doctor, Dr. Patrick Kwasi Doomson has been taken by officers from the Kasoa Police command for his alleged involvement in fraudulent activities.
The embattled doctor is accused of duping over 50 people globally. According to reports, the suspect claimed to be a medical doctor in the US and promised to help victims travel to the country without hassle in exchange for large sums of money.
One victim, Jeff, shared his experience with the media, revealing that he met Dr. Doomson at a chop bar in 2020. Dr. Doomson allegedly took a substantial amount from Jeff but failed to deliver on his promises. The victim claimed that Dr. Doomson also mentioned being involved in the cashew business but it was all part of his fraudulent scheme.
After realizing he was a victim of fraud, Jeff monitored Dr. Doomson’s activities and handed him over to the Kasoa Police Command. The police command has confirmed that Dr. Doomson will be prosecuted at the Kasoa Circuit Court.
