Former Assin Central MP, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has officially picked up nomination forms to contest in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2026 presidential primaries.
The confirmation was made on Tuesday, August 5, via a Facebook post by his campaign spokesperson, Kwasi Kwarteng, who wrote:
“Official Update: Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong has officially picked nomination forms to contest in the 2026 NPP Flagbearership race.”
This move solidifies Agyapong’s renewed ambition to lead the party, following his energetic campaign during the 2024 primaries.
Known for his strong messaging on patriotism, discipline, and economic revival, Agyapong is expected to make these themes the cornerstone of his 2026 campaign.
