The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Edem Agbana, has commissioned a newly completed six-unit classroom block at Tsiyinu M/A Basic School.

Speaking at the ceremony, Agbana recalled concerns raised by residents about pupils learning under trees and makeshift sheds.
“How do we expect children who will become doctors, lawyers, and teachers to learn under trees?” he asked, noting disruptions caused by rain.
The project, initially stalled due to funding issues, was completed by an alternative contractor.
The MP expressed gratitude for the contractor’s commitment and announced donation of four streetlights for the school.
Volta Regional Minister James Gunu said the commissioning shows votes are yielding results, criticizing past practices of abandoning projects.
Rev Martin Amenaki, MCE, described past learning conditions as “heartbreaking”, commending the MP’s persistence.
