Firefighters responded swiftly to a fire outbreak at House No. ADW/140, Adweso-Abogiri, in Koforidua on July 6, 2025. Led by STNO II Dzaka, the crew arrived promptly and brought the fire under control within 16 minutes, fully extinguishing it shortly after.
The prompt action of the fire crew prevented the fire from spreading and destroying the entire property. Although parts of the kitchen, including a gas cylinder, wooden ceiling, and personal items, were damaged, the damage was contained.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The incident highlights the importance of timely emergency response in preventing major damage and potential loss of life.
