This season’s theme, according to the club, is “Celebrating the pillar of peace: His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II”, a reference to the Asantehene who is the club’s patron.

On the right bottom side of both jerseys, an image of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is seen. They will hope to make him proud next season, which starts in September.

Kotoko clinched the 2021/22 league title with 67 points, 11 points above second-placed Medeama SC.

Kotoko on Monday announced they will travel to Turkey for pre-season training.

Before the start of last season, Kotoko trained in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and it paid off as they won the Ghana Premier League, dethroning their fierce rivals Hearts of Oak.

Management has decided to travel to Turkey this time to prepare for what is expected to be a demanding 2022/23 season.

They will be in Turkey for 15 days, as the pre-season begins on August 15 and ends on August 30.

Kotoko have set their sights on defending their league title, winning the MTN FA Cup, which eluded them last season and impressing CAF Champions League.
