Two dead bodies have been recovered in a bush at Maame /Nkwanta in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District in the early hours of Thursday, May, 23, 2024.
According a report received by myrepubliconline.com from Gadeka multimedia, a local news outlet, community folks are in great fear as they woke up today to find the dead bodies in the bush who are assumed to be fulani herdsmen.
Speaking with the former Assembly member of the electoral area, Kugbesika; he said the heads of the two bodies were removed and some parts of one of their legs were also chopped off.
He added that there were bullet shots at their back as a sign of gun shot.
He further added that one of the fulani herdsmen who was also looking for his brothers yesterday have identified the bodies to be his brothers whom he was searching for throughout the day and night.
Currently, the police have visited the scene and taking the necessary steps to investigate the matter. However, the bodies have still not taken to morgue, according to the former Assembly Member Hon. Kugbesika.
