The Kwahu West Health Directorate has begun the five–day National COVID-19 Vaccination to augment the measures being taken by the government to curb the dreaded pandemic.
According to the Ghana Health Service, is a development being initiated by the government to address the growing cases of the Covid-19 virus in the country.
The Municipal Health Director, Mrs. Celestine Asante said children from zero to 14 years are not part of the exercise.
She said, persons from 15 years and above will be required to take part in the process.
“If you have taken the single shot, make it a priority to take the second jab and if you have taken the second jab, you’d be given the booster,” she told Republic FM.
The Kwahu West Health Directorate recorded 749 cases within the municipality since the surge of the Covid-19 virus. As it stands, the health directorate has no active cases of the Covid-19 pandemic.
