The MCE, Lawyer Yaw Owusu Addo on his part, stated there cannot be developed without the support and involvement of the people. He made known that some roads within the Nkawkaw – Nsuta enclave will be given a very good face-lift once the 18-kilometre road promised him by the Central government is made available.

Some of the residents of the Nsuta community complained to the MCE about the recent rampant robberies happening in the community due to the lack of street lights and called on the MCE to intervene in providing street lights and security in the community.

Another resident requested that a new basic annex school be built to accommodate the overburdened old school.

The MCE in his quest also charged the residents to be able to coordinate all their grievances to the Assembly Member, Hon. Kisaaco to liaise with the Assembly and the traditional authorities to help address the issues.

He commended Nana Nsuta Hene for his relentless efforts in assisting the Assembly to construct many township roads in his jurisdiction.

The MCE further urged the people to always consult the Assembly to secure a permit before they begin to start building.

The constituency chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Andy Kwaku Ameyaw called on the traditional leaders to support the Assembly in making sure that the right procedures are implemented to benefit the people.

A similar process occurred at Nkawkaw Zongo where the MCE interacted with the Zongo Chief, Alhaji Abdul Nasser, Chief Imam, elders and the community folks.

He assured that the newly abandoned but completed Akuajoo market will once again be opened for the market women to ply their trades.

He stated the town road linking to the main Nkawkaw central and its adjoining areas will be the first to be constructed once the central government okays the promised 18-kilometer roads for the Kwahu West Municipality.

Some of the Zongo residents suggested that the Market be converted into a community centre as far as the majority of the market women are not willing to trade there.

Another resident also called for a police station or a police post to patrol the area as criminals and bandits have been terrorizing residents everyday.

On his part, the Presiding Member of the Kwahu West, Mr Boansi Dankwa implored the people to be more conversant with their various Assembly members as a matter of urgency to present their grievances to be resolved concurrently.

The Zongo electoral area Assembly member, Hon. Tamimu Halidu appealed to the Muslim community to continue to corporate and foster peace within the municipality.

He further reiterated his commitment to as well collaborates with the Zongo community leaders within the Nkawkaw – Zongo – Akuajoo – electoral area to fasten developmental coordination on behalf of the people of Zongo.
