According to the complainant, Godfred Koti, he noticed one of his goats did not return after they went out to graze.

He then reported the matter to the Dadieso Police and alerted food vendors to be on the look out for anyone who tries to sell a goat to them.

Yusif was arrested while attempting to sell the goat.

He was put before Enchi court and convicted by the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Lawrence Buanor based on his own plea.

The court further ordered the convict to compensate Mr. Koti with GHc3,000.

If there was a Non-Custodial law, Yusif may have been made to desilt gutters instead of imprisoning him and feeding him with thr tax payers money.
