The solemn occasion of Mrs. Gertrude Essie Quarshigah’s funeral was marked by a profound sense of loss and remembrance, as the Chief Director of the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Dr. Afisah Zakariah led Management and Staff of the Ministry to pay their final respects to the late National Coordinator of the GSFP at Keta on 2nd March 2024.
Mrs. Quarshigah’s dedication and commitment were celebrated amidst the somber atmosphere.
Amid shared grief, there was also a profound sense of gratitude for the opportunity to have known and worked alongside such a remarkable individual.
As the service unfolded, tributes poured in from all corners of the community. Teachers, students, and parents alike shared anecdotes of Gertrude’s kindness, her infectious laughter, and her ability to light up any room with her presence.
