Mrs. Bawumia also praised the employees and asked everyone to work together for a better society that fully realizes the rights of individuals with disabilities and special needs.

“The secret to fulfilling life rest in each one of us if we are inspired to look within ourselves since every human being is a special gift from God, so we should be inspired to do good at all time.” She added

The Second Lady also donated Gh¢50,000 to the centre.

The Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Seth Kwame Acheampong, in his address, also said that he is moved by what he has witnessed and encouraged everyone to assist those in need. He pledged to remain an associate and to collaborate with them to provide assistance in the future.

Hon. Frank Annoh Dompreh, Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri and Majority Chief Whip, expressed thanks and gratitude to H. E. Berenice Owen-Jones, Australian High Commissioner to Ghana.

According to him, he wishes Ghana and Australia’s relationship to extend beyond the medical field into other fields.
