Peace is an asset and steps must be taken at every tick of the clock in ensuring the sustainability of it. Peace as defined by manner as freedom from disturbance, absence of war or when war has ended and, a stress-free state of security and calmness.
I will say that peace is the ABSENCE OF CONFUSION. So, let’s look around us and identify the things that can unleash confusion, deal with them, and peace will prevail in all arenas of our lives.
We must uphold the principles of democracy and prioritize the peaceful atmosphere in Ghana as we navigate the complexities and challenges that come with elections. Some say stakes are high, but i want to ask, MUST GHANA FALL DUE TO ELECTIONS? Your answer will be as good as mine.
Promoting peace is a shared responsibility therefore every citizen, groups and institutions must join hands with us as Watch YOUR TONGUE PEACE ambassadors to help consolidate the peace in Ghana by emphasizing unity, respect for diverse opinions on issues
We must ensure that Peace is built by emphasizing constructive conversations to foster Accountability, Unity, Fairness, Justice, Rule of law and Tolerance to build trust for our socio-economic development.
We must not forget that, irrespective of our diversity in religion, tribe and social interest, we all belong to a country call Ghana.
Ensuring the effectiveness of this peace campaign, I have propounded a manual that suggests how we can disseminate the messages of peace to the understanding of all.
ACCRONYM FOR PEACE—PSYCHOLOGICAL PEACE, ECONOMIC PEACE, Accessibility OF BASIC NEEDS, COMPLIANCE and ENVIRONMENTAL PEACE.
ACCRONYM FOR GHANA- Get involved in this Peace Building Agenda, Hurt nobody with your Utterances, Actions and Writings, Accept the views of others to promote tolerance and freedom of speech, Nothing is more important in life than PEACE and STABILITY, Adhere to the Rule of Law to promote fairness, Accountability, Freedom and Justice.
I will urge all to embrace the four thematic areas of the Watch Your Tongue concept that empowers people to Think Right, Speak Right, Act right and, Write Right for the enhancement of Peace and Security.
In conclusion, I will encourage all Ghanaian citizens and non-citizens to eschew hate speeches, unlawful behaviour and malevolent writings in order to help consolidate the peace in Ghana and beyond. ‘Ghana will not die’.
