Lilwin postpones Sunyani movie premiere over 3-year-old boy’s death

Popular Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, best known as Lilwin has postponed the premiere of his movie, “A Country Called Ghana” scheduled on June 1, 2024, in Sunyani due to the sudden death of a 3-year-old boy.

Popular Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, best known as Lilwin has postponed the premiere of his movie, “A Country Called Ghana” scheduled on June 1, 2024, in Sunyani due to the sudden death of a 3-year-old boy.

Over the weekend, the popular actor and his team were involved in an accident at Kumasi-Amakom ahead of his movie premiere in Kumasi at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)that led to the death of a 3-year-old boy Richard Tawiah Amponsah.

However, in a statement signed by the Public Relations Office of Wezzy Empire, Okyeame Akwadaa Nyame highlighted that the decision to postpone the Premiere in Sunyani was made out of respect for the 3-year-old boy.

Okyeame Akwadaa Nyame further apologized to the public regarding their previous statement which was deemed insensitive to the plight of the bereaved family.
