Former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Peter Mac Manu, has dismissed reports claiming he has endorsed or joined the campaign of Kennedy Ohene Agyapong seeking to lead the NPP into elections 2028.
In a statement issued on Saturday, November 29, 2025, Mr. Mac Manu described the reports as false and urged the public to disregard what he called “deliberate misinformation.”
“My attention has been drawn to reports that I have endorsed and/or joined the campaign of Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyepong,” he said.
“I wish to state clearly and unequivocally that I have not endorsed or joined, publicly or privately, the campaign of Kennedy Agyepong.”
He called on the public to ignore the claims, stressing that they do not reflect his position
