A ‘mad woman’ has gruesomely murdered a 53-year-old woman called Adwoa Kesewa at Twifu Kayireku in the Twifu Atimokwa District of the Central Region.
The Twifu Atimokwa District Police Commander, DSP Charles Addie Boateng who confirmed the incident revealed that the mad woman, Mary Yeboah, 46 years old hit the head of the deceased with a club killing her instantly.
Narrating what led to the unfortunate incident, the Police Commander said the suspect [Mad woman] had been suffering from a mental challenge for about twenty-five [25] years and has been on medication.
He said the family of the suspect often rushed her to the Ankaful Hospital for treatment whenever her condition gets worse.
However, the condition of the suspect became worst than ever on that fateful day which resulted in her murdering the deceased with a club.
The ‘mad woman’ has been arrested and assisting Police in the investigation at Twifu Praso Police and would be taken to the Ankaful Hospital for further examination.
The body of the deceased has been sent to the Twifu Praso Mortuary for autopsy and preservation.
