Mahama attends one-week memorial service for the late Lionel Mobila

Former President, John Dramani Mahama, was joined by some executives of the party to celebrate the one week memorial of the passing of the former NDC Regional Secretary for the Upper East Region, Mr Lionel Mobila.

Former President, John Dramani Mahama, was joined by some executives of the party to celebrate the one week memorial of the passing of the former NDC Regional Secretary for the Upper East Region, Mr Lionel Mobila.

The gathering was also graced by the family members and loved ones of the former former Managing Director of SIC Insurance.

The one-week Memorial Mass Service was held at the Dansoman Star of The Sea Catholic Church.

Mr Lionel Mobila was a former Board Chairman of Ghana Reinsurance, former Board member of National Insurance Commission and other key government institutions.

He served under former Presidents Kwame Nkrumah and late Jerry john Rawlings’ regimes.

He was born in 1935 at Shia Tongu in the Upper East Region of Ghana and died on August 2, 2021 at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

In attendance of his Memorial Mass was former President John Dramani Mahama, some NDC executives, staff of the SIC Insurance and other government institutions.
