President John Dramani Mahama will depart the capital this Sunday for a five-day working visit to the Republic of Korea, beginning March 10, 2026.
According to a statement released by the presidency, the visit aims to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.

The president’s itinerary includes high-level bilateral talks with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung and a meeting with the Speaker of the Korean National Assembly, Woo Won-shik.
He is also expected to travel to Ulsan to participate in a ship-naming ceremony at the Hyundai Shipyard.
President Mahama will deliver a keynote address during a conferment ceremony at Yonsei University.
The visit will further focus on the Ghanaian diaspora and private sector engagement, with a scheduled town hall meeting for Ghanaians living in South Korea and a dinner session with prominent business executives and investors.
The president is expected to return to Ghana following the conclusion of the visit on March 14.
