Former President John Dramani Mahama has thanked Ghanaians for donating to support the NDC’s 10th Delegates Congress held on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
He indicated that the massive support that saw over one million Ghana Cedis received in donations in 12 days is a demonstration of the love Ghanaians have for the NDC party.
In a tweet, the former President said “I wish to express my appreciation to all donors who helped us make up the shortfall in our budget for the congress. This is a demonstration of the love Ghanaians generally and members of the NDC have for our party and the worthy cause we are embarking on.”
Ahead of the NDC’s Congress, the former leader took to social media to raise funds to support the National Democratic Congress event.
The party was able to raise GH¢1.083 million to support its 10th National Delegates Congress.
