At least 25 chiefs and traditional areas have endorsed President John Mahama ahead of his visit to the Central Region next week as part of his campaign tour.
The 12-member Central Regional Campaign Team for John Mahama embarked on visitations to the 23 constituencies in the region, visiting traditional authorities to announce the entry into the region of the ex-president.
In a release signed by James Kofi Annan, spokesperson for the Central Regional Campaign Team said without hesitation, each of the traditional authorities recounted the achievements of John Mahama and declared their support for his re-election bid.
The ex-president, John Dramani Mahama, is expected to bring his campaign to the Central Region beginning March 28, 2023.
He will spend three days in the region, and he is expected to visit delegates and address party gatherings.
Ahead of this, some Constituencies have been preparing earnestly, in waiting for the man who brought them the most polyclinics, the most secondary schools, the most basic schools, and the only interchange that is found in the region, the Kasoa interchange.
The Central Regional Campaign Team and the Central Regional Executives have pledged a 99.9% vote for John Mahama in the primaries and have since been working tirelessly towards their pledge.
The NDC will on Saturday, May 13, 2023, go to the polls to elect a flagbearer for the party ahead of the 2024 general elections.
