A 40-year-old suspect, Kwasi Ofori is on the run after allegedly shooting and killing his wife to death.

The unfortunate incident happened at Agyakusu in Upper Denkyira West district of the Central Region.

According to an eyewitness, the deceased, Maame Abena, 38 years old, and her husband who are married for twenty years with five children had a little argument.

A brother of the deceased said her sister has been taken for sometime and for a month she was staying with their mother who took care of her.

The husband who seemed to have missed the wife stormed his mother-in-law’s house to ask his wife to return home. Kwasi Ofori was not pleased with the response from her mother-in-law to allow his wife recover fully so she can return home.

The angry husband pulled a gun, shot and killed her wife in the process and bolted.

The body of the deceased has since been conveyed by the Police at the Hospital morgue for an autopsy and further investigation still
ongoing.
