Police are investigating a murder-suicide case between a husband and wife at Gbetsile.
The man identified as Thomas Kontoh and believe to be in his late forties [40s] allegedly butchered his wife, Lydia Amponsah with a cutlass after a misunderstanding between them.
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Gbetsile Soldier Line in the Kpone Kantamanso Municipal of the Greater Accra Region.
Report says the man is alleged to have committed suicide by hanging after committing the heinous crime.
Police in the area have deposited the body at the morgue.
