A 45-year-old man is in the grips of the police for allegedly murdering Habiba, a 50-year-old woman for refusing him sex at the Gomoa Dominase Onion Market in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
The suspect is said to have strangled the deceased after she reportedly denied his request for intimacy. The deceased was reportedly on her way to purchase fresh cow milk from a nearby ranch when the incident happened.
Police in Gomoa East have taken over the case, pending interrogation to unravel the circumstances leading to the death of the woman.
