A video of a woman who has been beaten mercilessly by her husband for starting a business without his permission is circulating on social media.

In the video the woman could barely open her eyes because his face was swollen.

She revealed that her husband has repeatedly stopped her from starting any small business she has started.

According to her, the man allegedly locked up her goods in the toilet in a bid to discourage her from doing any business.

The woman whose name is withheld said the husband does not even provide upkeeps for the family.

The sad video was shared by a Nigerian Instagram user who apparently had first-hand information from the victim.
