A block factory worker has fled after stabbing a 26-year-old man, Wisdom Tetteh Assem leading to his death at Adorkorpe, near Ada Kasseh in the Greater Accra Region.
The incident followed a confrontation which ensued between the suspect, Eric Kartel and Assem. The suspect is said to have accused the deceased of urinating at the premises of a drinking spot where a Valentine’s Day event was being held.
Kartel is alleged to have taken Assem’s phone during the confrontation, which later escalated into an altercation. The suspect allegedly returned later with a scissors to fatally stab Assem.
A friend of the suspect has since been arrested as manhunt is launched for the arrest of Kartel.
The Ada Divisional Police has retrieved the murder weapon and seeks information on the whereabouts of Kartel.
