A man in his 30s has allegedly been stoned to death by an unknown group of young men at Abountem in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti..

The man, whose name is not known is, was said to have been mobbed to death by unknown perpetrators over robbery in the said area.

According to the residents, the alleged thief who was stoned to death stormed the community with his accomplices at dawn to rob residents but failed to succeed. His two colleagues took to their heels but luck eluded the deceased.

The residents claimed the alleged thieves broke into television, cloths, provision stores in the locality to loot but was unlucky today.

The group of men in the community apprehended him and stoned him till he died on the spot.

The body of the deceased has since been conveyed by the police to the morgue whiles investigation ongoing.
