Mr. Hector Wulff, on Monday, the 8th of November 2021 at 1:45pm joined a couple of colleagues for a meeting at the lobby of the Marina Mall.

He indicated that, as he sat on the chair upon arrival, it collapsed and he had a severe fall which got him so embarrassed and traumatized to the extent that he was completely frozen on the floor for more than ten minutes before one of his meeting colleagues came over to help him up.

Later, they were approached by a lady who introduced herself as Afua, the centre manager, who offered an apology but did not provide any avenue or opportunity for a formal complaint on the incident to be lodged.

According to Mr.Wulff, he has been in excruciating pain in his right waist and at his left shoulder arm, making him have sleepless and restless nights since the incident occurred till date.

Mr. Wulff have since been to the hospital for medical examination and treatment, and have since submitted a formal complaint with medical report and copies of the X ray, to the managers of the facility.

Mr. Wulff is poised to sue Marina Mall for failing to provide proper chair for a patron to sit on and for negligence to inspect or repair the defective seat, and for causing pain and suffering, if management of the Mall refuse to take appropriate action for redress.

According to Mr. Wulff, no official from the mall has contacted him since he filed the formal complaint to the facility managers.

”The issue of customer safety at service provider’s premises or place of doing business must be taken seriously.” “This could happen to you at the banking hall, restaurant, inflight, hospital, hotel or any other place of doing business, this will be a victory to our fight against poor customer care and ineptitude towards the customer. ” Mr. Wulff exclaimed.
