Founder and Leader of the Ghana Union Movement, Christian Kwabena Andrews, widely known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has sparked public debate with his views on marriage and longevity.
According to him, the Bible does not explicitly state that a man must marry only one wife.
He argues that strict monogamy can sometimes lead to stress, which he believes contributes to early deaths among married men.
Osofo Kyiri Abosom claims that marrying two or more wives could help a man live longer, explaining that competition among wives to care for their husband would result in better attention, care, and emotional support, ultimately improving a man’s overall well-being.
