The Deputy CEO in charge of Programs and Operations at National Youth Authority, Mr. Nelson Owusu Ansah during volunteers training ahead of YouthConnekt Africa 2021 Summit has admonished volunteers to be mindful of their actions because it could make and unmake them.
He said this during the training which happened at the Accra International Conference Centre.
According to Mr. Owusu Ansah, volunteers need to go the extra mile if they want to go far in life because it is rewarding. Volunteers have been charged to be active to make this summit successful.
The YouthConnekt Africa which is set to start on Wednesday promises to be transforming and educative. A host of dignitaries are expected to grace this year’s summit .
This is an annual convening that connects youth from across the continent with policy influencers, private and public sector actors, non-governmental institutions etc, to devise and formulate youth empowerment strategies through enhanced partnerships.
The fourth of its kind, the 2021 Summit is being hosted by the government of Ghana under the auspices of H.E President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo from Wednesday October 20th to Friday 22nd October, 2021 at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC).
The theme for the Summit is “AFRICA BEYOND AID: Positioning the Youth for the Post COVID Economy and AfCFTA Opportunities”.
